IBPS Common Interview for Public Sector Banks

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is a system that hosts entrance tests through which candidates are selected for clerical posts, promotions are governed to officer posts etc. It is a governing body which initially dealt with the banking sector. It has now extended to non-banking sectors too. Its main motive is recruitment, promotion and placement of human capital at various tiers within an organization. In this, the common written examination conducted by IBPS in month of June 2012 has opened up the doors for eligibility for recruitment in 20 Public Sector Banks. The common interview for the recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees in 20 Public Sector Banks is to be held from 14 January 2013. The candidates will be selected based on their scores and their performance in the person al interviews conducted on the day of interview.
