Educational Qualification:

(i) For I.T. Officer (Scale I & II): 

a) 4 year Engineering Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics  & Telecommunications/ElectronicsCommunication/ Electronics & Instrumentation.

OR

b) Post Graduate Engineering Degree in Electronics/Electronics & Tele Communication/Electronics

&Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation/Computer Science/Information Technology /Computer Applications
OR
Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level


(ii) For Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I): Degree in Agriculture or allied specializations from Recognized University.

(iii) For Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I): A PG Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR a PG degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree level.

(iv) For Law Officer (Scale I & II): A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.

(v) For HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I): Any Degree from a recognized university and PG degree or diploma recognized by AICTE in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HRD/Social Work / Labour Law from a recognized University.

(vi) For Marketing Officer (Scale I): MBA (Marketing) / 2 years PGDBA / PGDBM or any other equivalent degree or diploma with specialization in Marketing from a recognized University/ Institution.

(vii) For Chartered Accountant (Scale II): Passed final examinations for Chartered Accountants.

(viii) For Manager Credit (Scale II)/ Finance Executive (Scale II): Graduate and CFA/ ICWA/ Full time MBA/ Full time PGDBM (Finance).

Experience Requirement for IBPS Specialist Officer Exam:

1. I.T officer (scale II) - 2 year Experience in IT field.

2. Law Officer (Scale II) - 3 years experience of practice at Bar or Judicial service and/or 2 years in Law Officer in the Legal Dept. of a reputed Bank or the Central/State Government or of a Public Sector Undertaking with practice at Bar.

3.Manager Credit (Scale II)/ Finance Executive (Scale II)  - 2 years in the area of Credit Appraisal of big/medium industrial projects in Scheduled Commercial Banks
