IBPS is an autonomous body to conduct the recruitment of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees (PO/MT) posts twice in a year for their requirements for 21 public sector banks in India. Recently ibps has announced the IV th (4th) Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers posts in the following 21 Public Sector Bank for the year 2014 and 2015. 20000 Bank jobs are going to fill up through this IBPS PO Exam phase IV. PO Exam cutoff

Ever year at least 8 to 12 lakh Candidates apply for the IBPS PO exam. But around 20000 vacancies are filled in Public sector Banks through ibps Exam.
So IBPS PO Exam is very tough to clear and get the jobs in Banks. It shows rising trend of getting jobs in Banks now.



How Bank Exam Cutoffs are Calculated.

First of all Candidates must understand about how the IBPS implements the cutoff marks after every exam. It goes through the below process.

Based on the number of corrected answers in each objective test, a corrected score is arrived. Corrected scores are converted to Equated scores by taking into account the difficulty level of the exam. These final scores are taken as cutoffs. The institute has not revealed the exact formula of converting the original marks into corrected and equated scores.
