Banking sector provides immense job opportunities for fresh candidates. It is considered as one of the best career gateways in the current scenario. The job in Public Sector Banks is given through the entrance exam only.


You have two options for getting Bank jobs in most of the Public sector Banks in India. Either apply for the entrance exam by State Bank of India or you can appear for the entrance exam by Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) which has accepted by 20 Public Sector Banks. Now its up to you to decide whether to appear for the SBI Entrance exam or the IBPS entrance exam. There are some 3 type of major entrance exams from both side:

Bank Clerk
Bank Probationary Officer
Bank Specialist Officer

Exam for these posts are conducted by both State Bank of India and IBPS.  There are some following Eligibility details are needed for candidate to apply Bank Exam as well as IBPS Exam.

To apply for these jobs,

1. Candidates should be a graduate from recognized University with 60% of marks. (Relaxation should be there).
2. Age should be in between of 18 to 28. Age relaxation should be there.
3. Must be a citizen of India.
4. For Specialist Officer Candidates have the degree with that specialist stream.
5. Candidates should know the computer skills.
