IBPS PO Exam 2013 Syllabus.


IBPS has announced the notification for PO (Probationary Officers )–III CWE (Common Written Exam). IBPS released the 3rd IBPS common written examination for PO/ MT posts for public sector banks. The IBPS common exam 2013 for PO jobs will be conducted online in the month of October, 2013.

IBPS PO Exam 2013 Pattern:


1. Reasoning - 50 marks.
2. General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) - 40 marks.
3. Quantitative Aptitude - 50 marks. 
4. English Language - 40 marks. 
5. Computer Knowledge - 20 marks.

Allotted Time : 2 hours. 
Note: No Descriptive Exam is there.



It is required for candidates to secure minimum qualifying mark in each section and overall. These cutoff scores are to be decided by IBPS depending on the performance of all applicants. 

Penalty for Wrong Answers:

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For every wrong answer, negative mark of 0.25 would also be reduced.


After the IBPS PO Exam 2013 Result, Exam qualifiers proceed to common interviews following which combined scores are released for allotment preference submissions.


IBPS PO Scores:

The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be 
normalized using equipercentile method. 

IBPS Cutoff Score:

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cutoffs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. It is required for candidates to secure minimum qualifying mark in each section and overall. These cutoff scores are to be decided by IBPS depending on the performance of all applicants.
