Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Specialist Officer Exam. Overview of IBPS Specialist Officer Exam.
IBPS conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in various cadres like IT, Technical, Agriculture, Legal, Marketing, HR, etc. and also in Rashtrabhasha in 20 Public Sector Banks. Nationality/Citizenship: Candidate must be a Citizen of India.

Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:

6 Persons ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1-1-80 to 31-12-89. 5 Years

Educational Qualification:

(i) For I.T. Officer (Scale I & II): Any Degree from a recognized University and having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level.

(ii) For Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I): Degree in Agriculture or allied specializations from Recognized University.

(iii) For Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I): A PG Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR a PG degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree level.

(iv) For Law Officer (Scale I & II): A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB).

(v) For Technical Officer (Scale I): Degree in Engineering.

(vi) For HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I): Any Degree from a recognized university and PG degree or diploma recognized by AICTE in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HRD/Social Work / Labour Law from a recognized University.

(vii) For Marketing Officer (Scale I): MBA (Marketing) / 2 years PGDBA / PGDBM or any other equivalent degree or diploma with specialization in Marketing from a recognized University/ Institution.

Experience Requirement for IBPS Specialist Officer Exam

1. I.T officer (scale II) - 1 year Experience

2. Law Officer (Scale II) - 3 years experience of practice at Bar or Judicial service and/or Law Officer in the Legal Dept. of a reputed Bank or the Central/State Government or of a Public Sector Undertaking with practice at Bar. 

3.Finance Executive (Scale II) - Minimum experience of 3 years in the area of Credit Appraisal of industrial projects in Financial Institutions/Banks.

4. Freshers can apply for remaining specialist officer jobs.

  11. @ aparna, after you ompleting the degree, you are eligible for both po and so exam.you can apply for all exam in banks include clerks. po is general pattern, any degree holder can apply. but so needs some specialisation.next ibps po exam will be announced after june
